The Caregiver Dilemma

After Sunday's post, you can only imagine how I felt yesterday when, after spending an hour or so staring at the computer, I came down to find Eva asleep--on her babysitter's chest.

Me: Uhm, hey.
Babysitter: I know. It's crazy. It's the only way I can get her to fall asleep.
Me: Uhm, okay. Cool.

Standing there, my heart broke a dozen times. Let's just hope this isn't a sign of things to come, or I'll be saying ixnay to orkway!

Oh no. I too miss the sleeping on the chest days, and would be wildly jealous if he were doing it on someone else's chest. Wildly. Jealous. But the silver lining is that at least she was sleeping...... :)?

I too would be wildly jealous. And I'm getting all weepy getting ready for our block's stoop sale day in a couple weeks, deciding that yes, she really doesn't need the bouncy seat anymore. Sigh, sigh, sigh.

Ah, the bouncy seat, going the way of the Lanisohn...

Sleep, yes. I felt just that way, Helios! I was like, oh yay, sleep, but wait...

Looks like the little ones are growing up!

I miss those days of the one on one contact. Seems like a lifetime ago. Sigh.
