Even if your ancestors hailed from the Netherlands, do not be tempted to take "Step Aerobics 3" at the gym next to your Amsterdam hotel. Remind yourself that you do not speak Dutch, not even at some deep cellular level; flashback to that Nicaraguan spin class; opt, instead, to tour the museums.
Tomorrow: Bikram in Dubai!

Hi Nicole! I so like what you're doing here, am such a fan of the way you put things, and the sort of reflective breeziness of your tone. very slow and sunny. . .
Do you do Bikram yoga? I just signed up for a month of it at a lower east side studio. I'm pretty terrible, and can't hold the positions, but it seems to help me sleep well at night. Are you travelling now?
on my way to bikram in a few hours. it is the best exercise i have ever done!
i see results practically overnight.
namaste,

Hey..I only know you through stories as told to me by my husband, whom you knew rather well during your OU education. We recently went through pictures and relived the times. Fred is terrible at keeping in touch, but I know he'd love to say hi.
Wow--The wife of my first love; the one-time girlfriend of my future husband and the woman whose blog I stalked for a years! Quite a collection of commentors! Hi all. In Dubai now, though I already miss Amsetrdam with its canals and flowers and beautiful, beautiful art. Love to all.
Wait! Did I scare everyone away? A note on Bikram: I haven't done in a while; I'm veering towards vinyasa and Ashtanga, but I say, all yoga is good yoga!
